School meals at Chesnut Lodge are provided by Food for Thought. Food for Thought is a not-for-profit school meals company which is owned by its member schools.

Food for Thought offer a choice of a range of freshly cooked soupls, main meals and desserts every day, often including pasta, salad, fresh fruit and yoghurt for £2.90 per day.

 

Menus include a wide variety of choices including all the children's favourites, and are fully compliant with Government standards which state that one portion of fruit and veg/salad per child must be included in every meal.
