Art Attack at Chesnut Lodge

31st March 2016
Well, our art exhibition was a huge success!!
We had a huge turn out of pupils, parents and carers, governors and friends of Chesnut Lodge to see the fantastic art work on display from our pupils. Every child had the opportunity to complete a piece and each was framed and displayed on the day. After being greeted with a glass of 'bubbles' visitors to the exhibition could browse the pieces and use the numbers to locate the name of each artist.
Pieces came in a huge variety with contributions such as footprint butterflies by Foundation Stage, through to Kandinsky and Van Gogh inspired pieces by Key Stage 3 and 4.  Visitors were asked to make comments and tell us their thoughts about the exhibition. The feedback was extremely positive and we couldn't be prouder of every one of our artists!
