Anti-Bullying Week 2017

17th November 2017
Anti-Bullying Week 2017 has been fantastic so far!
The whole school community has gotten involved and we have seen some fantastic learning going on around school. The theme for this years Anti-Bullying Week was, 'All Different, All Equal' and our pupils have loved making this point in as many different ways as possible.
We have also been lucky enough to have students from Liverpool John Moore's University supporting us at the end of the week. The fantastic students are undertaking a Global Learning Project and have been teaching us about how different cultures are all different too.
Have a look at some of our pictures so far!
Primary 3 have made these fantastic videos for Anti-Bullying Week. They have used the Green Screen to make a short film and a music video telling everyone that it is OK to be different and that being unique is good!
Secondary 2 have been comparing the things they like. Every one had very different tastes in music and sport. They were also 'rocking' their odd socks on odd socks day this week!
Foundation Stage have been making and sharing friendship hearts. Awarding the 'Best Friend Bear' to different friends and showing how we play and share nicely.

In Primary 2 pupils played sharing games with their friends. They were encouraged to pass the bubbles onto their friends when their time had finished. They have also been designing mermaid tails as part of their underwater topic. Everyone had different ways of designing and they then compared to see that every single one was different!
