Drake Music seeks disabled young people for exciting accessible music project in Manchester

Drake Music is inviting disabled young people aged 10-18 to apply to be part of SATURDAY SOUNDTRACKERS’ a free 15-week-long accessible SaturdaySchool at Z-arts, Hulme, funded by BBC Children in Need.

 

The project will focus on creating exciting new music using assistive music technology, such as iPads, adapted switches, DJ tools and Theraminis, alongside traditional musical instruments and vocals.

SATURDAY SOUNDTRACKERS is suitable for young people with limited movement/dexterity and those with learning disabilities. Beginners welcome!

To apply you must:

    •    Be 10-18
    •    Identify as disabled
    •    Have a real passion for music
    •    Be available on Sat mornings from March 4th
